Alas NF had just been released and the banks said no.A year later I found my house in Santa Fe and build a studio. I think (((hindsight is 20/20))) this was a much better turn of events for me, since I have been able to record more than half of my albums in a beautiful studio less than a hundred feet from my home…

Mac Tip: Display the Date on the Menubar Display the Date on the Menubar When I am on tour I want to know my time-zone and the date with one glance.because we enjoy playing for two hours and that time would decrease with an opening act and the need to make changes to the stage etc.The One World Theater contracted us to play two shows of 75 minutes each. We played a bit more, but in order to turn over the house and do two shows in one night we can’t go any longer than we did.

When you buy a ticket for a concert you might ask whether the performer will be doing one or two shows that evening. If there will two shows, you can pretty much bet that each performance is not going to be longer than 75-90 minutes. Another dead give-away is when the venue is rather small. In a small venue we will usually have to do two performances in an evening.

SSRI has released ten albums since 2002. That’s a little less than two releases per year. But, we like to think that we make up in quality what we lack in quantity. Two of those ten albums are not currently distributed, “The Santa Fe Sessions” and “Winter Rose”. Which is unfortunate, I think, because how many members actually own or have heard the five albums nominated… I own excatly one album from that category, and I got that for free from SSRI for my involvement in the recording…
